All Arjun surprised common public in a local colony in Hyderabad. On Wednesday (June 2, 2010), he went to a colony in a get up of a cable boy to fix the cable connection and interacted with the public. All this is part of promotion of his forthcoming film, Vedam. As he is playing the role of Cable Raju, a cable operator in the film, he appeared in the same get up and done the same activities for an hour in that colony.
Like Bollywood stars promote their movies according to the theme of the movie, Allu Arjun did the same. He created a new trend in Telugu Cinema industry. Also, for the first time, a Telugu film is being promoted on national news channels. Vedam set the trend.
